Lewis Hamilton should retire today, not at the end of the season. Now. Embarrassed yet again by his teammate. Especially embarrassing after talking big after finishing above Leclerc in China… Leclerc’s worst track. Consistently outperformed now by first George at Mercedes and now Charles at Ferrari. It’s sad to see him like this.

ChatGPT made this graphic for me to illustrate the pump price of petrol... The fuel duty is higher than the crude oil component And then we pay VAT including on the fuel duty!! When @RachelReevesMP talks about fuel profiteering she needs to look in the mirror @griffitha @ClaireCoutinho

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 On the West African coast, there is a city called Freetown. Its name tells you everything. In 1787, British abolitionists founded it as a home for freed slaves and Black loyalists from Britain. They called it the Province of Freedom. When Britain abolished the slave trade in 1807, Freetown became the base of the West Africa Squadron. For sixty years, the Royal Navy patrolled 3,000 miles of coastline. 1,600 slave ships captured. Every person freed was brought here. 150,000 people. The coast was deadly. Malaria. Yellow fever. Dysentery. Two thousand British sailors died on this station. They knew the risk when they volunteered. They went anyway. Around the 150,000 people brought to Freetown, a city grew. Schools. Churches. Courts. One of those rescued was a child pulled from a slave ship by the Royal Navy. His name was Samuel Ajayi Crowther. Educated in Freetown. Translated the Bible into Yoruba. Became the first African ordained as an Anglican bishop. Then went back to West Africa to negotiate the treaties that ended the trade on land. The trade that tried to take him, he helped close. 🇬🇧 One city. One story. Built entirely from conscience. Ordinary British people built it. Help us keep this history alive. 👇 Be Part Of Us: 👉proudofus.co.uk 🙏 Be Proud Of Us. 🇬🇧

@DrChrisCombs The two scenes give you zero connecting information—no shared reference points, no additional measurements on the dog, no overlapping heights, nothing. You can't set up an equation or deduce the dog's height at all

@DanielJHannan @FraserNelson This is disingenuous, the niqab is becoming a common site and is just as evil, and should have no place in Britain.

Be honest. How many times have you seen an actual full-on burqa on a British woman? It is extraordinary how much political energy is expended on an issue whose real-world impact would, to a first approximation, be zero.

Guardian columnist Zoe Williams claims the reason we don't have mixed football teams is because “women are too good”. 🙄 Now, I’m no expert on football - but you don’t need to be. You can see it with your own eyes. Watch an elite men’s match and an elite women’s match side by side. The men are, on average, quicker, stronger and more powerful - which changes the pace, intensity and physicality of the game. Saying that doesn’t diminish women’s football. It’s simply acknowledging reality. Men’s and women’s football are different - because men and women are different. This isn’t really about Williams - it’s about the kind of baseless arguments that get bandied around to justify men in women’s sports and spaces. Including by women themselves.

Reading an account of why Labour MPs are trying to thwart plans to increase defence spending by cutting foreign aid. More than 70 of the latest intake of Labour MPs worked in the charity sector. Such a grotesque over-representation is bound to skew this Government’s priorities.

Would Thatcher have handled Trump better than Starmer? No: she'd never have flattered him. He wldnt have stood for her berating him, as she did Reagan on Grenada She'd have hated everything about him, bar defence spending Dominic Lawson on great form times-comment.com/maggiedom

How is Norway able to fund such a Defence budget when we aren’t? One factor is they’re still drilling in the North Sea - we buy their fossil fuels from the same basin we deny ourselves the economic benefit from. Madness.
Navy Lookout@NavyLookout

🇳🇴Norway has decided to further increase its defence spending by 115 NOK (c£8.9Bn) to 3.5% GDP by 2035. This guarantees funding of 5 or 6 Type 26 frigates as well as 6 Type 212CD submarines.

The Islamic regime has confirmed the death of 18 year old Melika Azizi. Her punishment was rape and then execution by hanging. Melika told the judge: "You let so many young people bleed. How can I remain silent? I don't care just kill me" A brave young lady! Now gone. A crime

'As the document uncovered by The Telegraph makes clear, once the UK transfers sovereignty of the British Indian Ocean Territory to Mauritius, its waters will fall within the scope of the EU-Mauritius fishing agreement.' 😲 'It has raised concerns among conservationists that European trawlers will exploit fish stocks in the 640,000 sq km area surrounding the Chagos archipelago, one of the planet’s largest Marine Protected Areas (MPA), which has been under a Britain-enforced “no take zone” since 2010.' 😡 EU plot to seize Chagos fishing rights after Starmer’s surrender telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/2…
