At this point in time, there is no better job for Tommy Lloyd than @ArizonaMBB. If you don’t want to call the Wildcats a “blueblood,” that’s fine. But he’s not leaving for North Carolina or the other “blue bloods” that could open next year. Just spend a basketball weekend in Tucson to understand that.

Basically we won a conference championship (season or tourney) and went to the second weekend 2 of every three years and and the final four every 4 years. Tommy can make the same run here inTucson.

More insider money continues to come in on Billy Donovan to UNC. He was in Chapel Hill on Sunday. The Heels will likely finalize once the NBA season concludes. Well played by Tommy Lloyd and his team using them as leverage for a new contract.

A lot of close friends whom are big donors at UNC are talking about Ben McCollum. Apparently some stuff is moving rapidly. Tommy Lloyd is now out of the picture for the Tar Heels.

I just looked this up, due to a comment from an Arizona player. Arizona free throws, through 3 NCAA tournament games, vs the other 3 teams combined. Rd 1: 33 free throws vs 10 free throws Rd 2: 39 free throws vs 11 free throws Rd 3: 39 free throws vs 26 free throws Arizona in tournament: 111 free throws. Other 3 teams combined: 48 free throws Seems reasonable. I guess nobody can play defense without fouling, aside from Arizona. Arizona has 63 MORE free throws than the other three teams combined. The free throw disparity is greater than the total free throws combined by the opposing 3 teams. Wow.
