@paracambriar@BBCSport I’m expressing an opinion. On an open forum. Not getting mad. I disagree with the result. Giving the manager who wins the title shouldn’t mean automatically winning this award.
@Paul_Russ2012@BBCSport So, why was Pep repeatedly winning it? Arsenal finished 8th in Arteta's first 2 seasons and went 6 consecutive seasons without making the top 4, until the 2nd place finish in 2022-23. My question again - what would it take for Arteta to win manager of the season?
@paracambriar@BBCSport Be the best manager of that season. Taken into context with the other managers and their achievements of the course of that season. Arteta took arsenal from perennial bottle jobs to league winners in a season when they had very little competition.
@Paul_Russ2012@BBCSport Dragging the team from midtable to 3 consecutive 2nd place finishes didn't win him the award. What would it take for him to win the award if finally winning the title isn't enough?
@dharvey4 Concentrate on your team rather than comparing to others. Just look at Burnley who finished 24 points above us last season and 32 behind us this
It wasn't that long ago, we matched Sunderland for over 3 hours in the playoffs, if they can finish 7th this season, then 17th should be the minimum goal next season
