@AaronBastani I was in Makerfield yesterday @AaronBastani. My biggest take away from it, was the amount of Restore posters placed in people’s windows around the town centre.

Restore getting 10%, with no data, would be nuts. And I find it hard to believe. But if that’s what they’re seeing while they canvass, then why on earth would they stop? Mockery or denigrating them won’t help.

Reform UK is in absolute meltdown over the threat posed by Restore Britain in Makerfield, but they only have themselves to blame. They picked a candidate without doing any proper vetting and as a consequence are now hiding him from the media. They are also running a very lacklustra and low energy campaign that is doing little to excite their activist base. In contrast, Restore Britain are out three times a day, and in numbers, and their campaign is being heavily promoted by far right vloggers and Elon Musk. Reform's problem is now that the more they turn their focus on Rupert Lowe's Restore Britain, the more they are making it an attractive proposition for racists across the country.

So far I’ve only seen three short clips of Restore Britain’s Rebecca Shepherd. In each of them she gives very simplistic responses and no real depth to her answers. She is simply terrible. She sounds like an MP for Facebook, not Makerfield, my goodness.

Rupert talks about “lawful tools” while openly targeting migrants like they’re less human than everyone else. Funny how politicians never blame billionaires, corrupt contracts or failed governments for the housing crisis it’s always refugees and immigrants with nothing. Racism got you elected. Humanity won’t keep you there.

Along with every county councillor for the Great Yarmouth constituency, I have written to the Home Office, Serco and other relevant contractors warning them not to house illegal migrants in our community.
