Maybe I'm in a minority about this in Liverpool or maybe not. I think the defacement of the Trent Alexander-Arnold mural is a real shame. The people who did it are morons. He was partly responsible for a lot of glory here. He contributed to some amazing wins. That lives on

@shornKOOMINS @stehoare Salah is the big problem. We can’t carry his lack of tracking and press if his output isn’t there. Connor constantly had two to deal with that first half. Salah was their entire outlet and it was his man again for the goal.

@stehoare Problems at RB, problems at LB, problems next to Virg, problems re midfield legs and integrating Wirtz, Salah possibly at the start of the decline, no pace out wide either side, every game ending an incoherent mess with players out of position. A lot to sort out.

It’s all a big mess at the moment. We’ve got so many players underperforming and the manager is making some strange decisions. Hopefully the break does us some good but yeah, it’s all a bit grim.

And who are Newcastle going to get at this late stage of the window with suitable targets moved elsewhere? Yoane Wissa is not like for like. Newcastle need two anyway with Callum Wilson gone.
