Julius Malema claims that during his meeting with General Mkhwanazi, the senior police officer spoke negatively about both the National Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, and Police Minister Bheki Cele.
According to Malema, General Mkhwanazi alleged that General Masemola lacks basic administrative skills, stating that he does not even know how to type or send an email. Malema further claims that Mkhwanazi said he deliberately chose not to publicise developments in the AKA Forbes case, fearing that Police Minister Bheki Cele might interfere and potentially compromise the investigation.
