@fr33palest1ne LPG still comes from the early steps of refining raw natural gas, but it has no methane. Propane and butane stay liquid under moderate pressure and regassifies easily at a few lbs/in­ over ambient. Convenient, since you don't need a 120 tonne regassification unit for your grill.

@fr33palest1ne OK, that's just natural gas (methane). England does import some Liquid Natural Gas (LNG - still methane), but that's regasified at the port and still delivered as mains piped gas. You wouldn't use gas in LNG form at your house. Rural areas might use LPG in tanks (propane/butane).

@PavewayIV I'm pleased the summer is closer but there's nothing to say things will have improved at all by next winter. My central heating runs on LNG but i've still got fire places intact, we might have to open some of the coal pits they closed down years ago. Dependent on net zero, lol.
