Has your dog been injured by #litter? This week Ted became a statistic,his paw cut by glass, while at Greenan shore in #Ayr Dropping litter has consequences, not all animals have folk to whisk them to vets. It could been a child. For Ted it caused an epileptic fit & weeks care

Well done to #Stonehaven Brownies clearing 9.11kgs of #litter from Farrochie Park last night incl 3.2kgs of recycling- glass bottles,plastic bottles,cans & a vape Crazy the amount of litter dropped in a beautiful park or blown from bins. Everyone deserves a clean park to enjoy

Spent an hour & a half doing this, through brambles & nettles. Nobody will even notice it, apart from the rabbits that live here perhaps 🐇 But, I know that a full bag of #litter isn't there anymore. Crazy to think that almost all of this is crisp packets. Plus a beer bottle 🍺

My final count came in at 1,823 #litter items topped by plastics. Shredded litter & car reflectors from shunts makes my blood boil & after this lot it's evaporated 🫤. So much #microplastics left on the A38 & A419 #Gloucestershire though.

The collection of litter in this storm drain sits less than 100 yards from Pittsburgh's Ohio River. Probably tens of thousands of other drains in the city/county that look similar. Our stormwater drainage systems store and hide an insane amount of trash

Just 14 bags collected this week from Monday to today. 10 of these today in Walsall Town centre. Life got in the way this week with a funeral. I've also started painting in the town centre now the weather is better. #onemillionbags

I check bus stops as s matter of course when out litterpicking. If I see a mess in one driving by I will stop and clean up. No choice but to do it, bus company won't put bins nor will council no one wants the cost of service & disposal

Thank you for all you do, promoting the need to deal with litter responsibly. It’s heartbreaking when a pet gets injured because some irresponsible human can’t put a glass bottle in the bin.
