What a lovely day it was today 😎🌤️ After work I thought I'd go up #CorstorphineHill 🌳 It was very peaceful but unfortunately there were a lot of #litter-ed dog poo bags... 🐶💩 Also an old cap 🧢 a saw 🪚 & a disintegrating piece of old carpet 😒

Ebay wouldnt sell me this saw until I verified my age because its a "bladed article". So I went to the website of the seller (Howe tools ) and bought it there instead. You can see how easy this would be to conceal down the leg of my tracky bottoms though I'm not sure which bit I'm meant to stab someone with, it weighs 50kg maybe bludgeon them to death instead ? Nine-year-old Tiernan McCready was walking home from football in Derry when he saw something that didn’t feel right. Nearby, three men were trying to force an 18-year-old girl into a van. Most people would have frozen in fear. Tiernan didn’t. Even though he was scared, the young boy started shouting and ran closer to the scene, drawing attention to what was happening. The sudden noise and interruption caused the men to panic and flee. The girl was able to escape. Tiernan then helped her get to safety and alerted his mother so the police could be called. Later, Tiernan admitted he had been frightened the entire time, but said he knew he could not just stand there and do nothing. Police praised the boy’s quick thinking and courage, saying his actions may have prevented a much more serious outcome. To recognize what he did, officers presented Tiernan with a badge of bravery. Despite the attention, the young boy remained humble and said he hopes to become a police officer one day so he can continue helping people. Sometimes the biggest acts of courage come from the smallest heroes.

Magnum *tonic* wine lol. Says its a Jamaican recipe it's 16.5% (I am sure years ago it was 18%?) Alcohol, sweet cherry/chemical taste like medicine. Used to have outlines of men&women embracing on the label but it fell foul of advertising rules. Said to enhance libido lol

@LouiseButc83646 @Royal_Greenwich I was responding to "there needs to be more affordable waste facilities for businesses". Why? I'd say businesses just need to charge their clients, instead of fly tipping. That's all. Everything's got its price, including creating waste.

@EdinburghPicker @Royal_Greenwich I have no idea what you’re on about. I am saying in our Borough there are no facilities to recycle our waste in the south of the Borough hence people dumping it in the streets. I do not dump it in the streets, other people do.

I’m lucky enough to live on the N Northumberland coast with a real old fashioned hardware shop in nearby Seahouses. Everything I need for gardening. Great for decorating, diy, plumbing etc etc. Lots of advice & if they don’t have it they can get it. Backbones of the community
