@cleanupbritain I'll never understand why some people need a deterrent to not do something that's so clearly wrong.

This video was shot this weekend in a field off a leafy lane in Herts. We'll be erecting a camera here, but too late to catch these criminals. This is commercial waste and we're lobbying for a minimum and automatic £20,000 fine for this crime. The risks must outweigh the rewards.

@mike56200 You'd expect that at the very least manufacturers would be made to use packing that's fully recyclable. The relevant government department's responsibilities are likely too broad and this isn't even on their radar yet.

West Ealing This "cyclist", passed the red light seven seconds after it turned to red. On top of that, they overtook the lead vehicle, which could be itself have led to a serious accident. The driver will receive a £100 and 3 penalty points. Not really a deterrent is it?

I guess we should be glad that a person can zig-zag through the streets in my area for 1½ hours and only fill one bag, barely 3 kg! 👍🏼 A close eye to be kept on the hedges, which grow all sorts... 👀 Also more grit bins used as #litter bins 🙄
