@urbanmyths @acnewsitics Woman here who fully supports trans women in the women's room. It's none of my business whether they're cis or trans.

I’m a Democrat, and an advocate for a gay rights. This is a woman’s rights issue. Many women have been victimized by men, and young girls shouldn’t be put into a position where they’re at a bathroom or showers/locker room with an adult male stranger - which is exactly what is happening now Nobody asked women or young girls for their l permission before these changes were made, which is the definition of misogyny. As a political issue, Democrats risk losing future elections if they don’t get this issue right. Transgender people should be treated with respect, and so should women and young girls.

I'm not sure why the bathroom is such an issue. There are stalls in ladies rooms. What's the issue here?

@urbanmyths @restingmom_face @acnewsitics If someone is peeping, they're doing something wrong, regardless of gender. No reason to exclude a marginalized group and force trans women to use the men's room where they're more likely to get assaulted.

We have literally always punished young boys and grown men for peeping into the girls and women’s bathrooms, now you’re going to let grown men go in there just because they say they’re a woman? What if a teenage boy decides he’s a woman and he wants to go see what’s going on in there? The naivety of many of my liberal friends is astounding. I remember young bus in my school doing this all the time and it was wrong. Today they use cell phones to record what they see. It’s a fetish. As for grown men, many of them are predators, most of them don’t wear dresses, but some do. As a man I have to tell women you have no idea what the opposite sex is really up to. Many men fantasize about young girls, have rape fantasies and other sick thoughts. They even buy roofies to knock women out to have sex with them. Just ask Bill Cosby if you don’t believe me. By and large most men are misogynists. They don’t value women, but see them as objects. They often share these thoughts with their male friends, but never with you. And some of them even wear dresses. Bathrooms are supposed to be a safe spaces for women and especially young girls. They have not given their permission for this massive social change. During the #Metoo movement, we always said believe the women. We did. So now you’re saying we can’t believe them? You need to make up your mind, you can’t have it both ways.

@jdibon I think it's much better than here. My posts are actually being seen and liked. The dev team is actively engaging with us, and it all feels more friendly.

@jdibon I did this for so long, I needed to completely relearn how to walk.

Stress, pain, trauma, fear of subluxations etc can cause muscular armour. We put our armour on to protect ourselves, to stabilize ourselves. And the armour stays on which isn't really beneficial for calm, gentle living - stress-free living, because we are so “pent up” & held
