⭐ Feast of Saints Philip and James, Apostles — May 3
Today the Church celebrates two pillars of the apostolic age, men who walked with Jesus, preached His Gospel with courage, and sealed their witness in blood.
Saint Philip, born in Bethsaida in modern‑day northern Israel, was among the first called by Christ. Scripture shows him inviting others to meet Jesus with the simple, powerful words: “Come and see.” After Pentecost, he carried the Gospel into Asia Minor, where he was martyred for his bold proclamation of the risen Lord.
Saint James the Less, son of Alphaeus, became the first bishop of Jerusalem. Known for his humility, prayer, and unwavering leadership, he guided the early Christian community through persecution and division. He was martyred in Jerusalem, struck down with a club after confessing Christ before the people.
Their feast reminds us that the Church is built not on power or prestige, but on ordinary men transformed by grace, who gave everything for the truth they encountered.
Saints Philip and James, Apostles of the Lord, pray for us — that we may follow Christ with the same courage, clarity, and love.

Comparing Christ’s Church up until the 1500’s with the Tower of Babel.
What a revealing comparison.
And how sad that the promises of Christ to the Church, and the Old Testament prophecies of the Messianic Kingdom (the Church), must be so completely ignored in favor of the clearly human “solutions” of the “reformation,” which have yet to resolve anything, having only continued to split, divide, and dilute more and more.
None of that is fruit of God.
