The feedback was spot on: relying on 3rd-party APIs is a single point of failure. Real commerce needs sovereignty. V2 brings a self-hosted backend & native SPV. Proactively, we’re also overhauling the UI & system core Trusting no one but the chain itself ⚡️

Community response matters when builders listen. The perseverance signal — 'not stopping' after feedback — is infrastructure credibility in real time. Seeing the community response to PayOnce Cash has been eye-opening. If the BCH community wants a decentralized merchant gateway and real commerce infrastructure on Bitcoin Cash, I'm considering launching a Flipstarter to continue development. Would the community support this?

I really appreciate this perspective. The BCH ecosystem needs real merchant tools, and PayOnce was built exactly for that. If the community truly believes in this vision, I'm seriously considering launching a Flipstarter

I’ve been around the BCH community for years, and I do think there’s real demand for something like PayOnce Cash. Tools that make it easier for merchants and users to transact are exactly what BCH needs to grow as peer-to-peer electronic cash. It would be a shame if development stopped just because funding ran out. If you decide to launch a Flipstarter for the backend, I believe many people in the community would be willing to support it. Good infrastructure is something worth building together.
