@cgay_51 @RonniSalt He went into government to destroy government from the inside.
English

@RonniSalt And this guy, who has said he doesn’t trust government, is still taking money from the Government as an MP & enjoys all the trappings of being an ex-PM with gold card travel, etc. so much for not trusting government. Only when it suits him. He’s a weasel.
English

There is so much more to this escapade than just Scott Morrison repulsing Australians again.
You have to understand him to really see what this is about.
What you're seeing here is 2 things.
1 - it's the real Scott Morrison. This is how he fancies himself, the messianic leader
Squizz@SquizzSTK
Scott Morrison May 2022 "Australians need to trust the government" Scott Morrison July 2022 "We don't trust in governments" Some people don't deserve to be forgiven. #auspol

@RonniSalt I like the way you write about what you see. The painful beauty of life. Your description of Tom 'the Dark Corner Man' will stay with me forever.

@DiZPeach @Ben_Davison1 @RonniSalt @smh How does he keep his job? I think he is doing exactly what he was hired to do.
English

@Ben_Davison1 @RonniSalt @smh Seriously how does he keep his job? Is this the direction the SMH want to go. Must not be any journalist positions anywhere, who would want to work in that sort of environment.
English

In just six months Bevan’s @smh has:
-Run Liberal Party lines by calling a lockout a strike (overruling his journos)
-Outed Rebel Wilson (then thrown journo under the bus)
-Used the word “sniper” in a headline about our PM the day after an international political assassination

@JosephArmand1 @JaquelineOutram Dutton is the leader that best represents the current LNP.
He is around for a while. Maybe the major papers will take a break from opinion polls to give him a chance.

@hughriminton Understand the Senator is making a political point here but this is a little misleading.
First of all, the number being cited is first preferences only. Australia has preferential voting.
Second, we don't have one national vote, we have 151 separate House elections.

@Madrabbitohpj @Serby2010 @kevinbonham David Littleproud has stated that this result is a mandate for the ALP to implement their policies.
English

@Serby2010 @kevinbonham And that 76 seats was declared a clear mandate I remember from the MSM
English

Following a #Newspoll with ALP 36% Chris Uhlmann said "neither [major party] can form government in their own right from there." The ABC has now called that Labor has won a majority from 32.8%.

@Neopseudo @DontVoteLibs @fromthewonni @rick_rampal Then why doea the AEC have a count of any seats at all?
English

@jason_king72 @marquelawyers That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
English

@PbPbaddock @marquelawyers In light of the Uvalde shooting, the original post here seemed to imply that being shot meant shot by others ie homicide. If you include suicide then it is more believable.
English

@MColvinMcKenzie @DavidGr07837209 I wonder if you'll get a response Michelle?

While a lot of analysis has been on the campaign and what went right & wrong and where Australia is now, as naturally it should, I took a look back at what we have all been through.
A requiem for over three lost years, (with a nod to Henry Lawson)
