Like this Tweet if you have a higher career bWAR than Erik Kratz

Foul Territory@FoulTerritoryTV
"His power has been down ever since he got caught using steroids." Fernando Tatis Jr.'s slow start offensively might just be who he is now, says @ErikKratz31.

@Travis_Sawchik @BKSportsTalk He also said he expected the DR offense to put up big numbers on Sunday night, like he forgot Paul fckin Skeenes was pitching. Clown.

@abarkett17 @BaseballQuotes1 He shouldn’t have been running. Pujols had a couple jobs, managing pitching & when to pinch run. He didn’t run for wells so he can pinch hit for Wells with the biggest swing & missed in the game. But DeRosa…

No offense takin. It’s twitter. I try not to go too deep on here or in a tweet, but like everything, there’s context. That applies to not pulling the ball in BP just as much as it does to intentionally hitting pull side homers in BP, which I’m all for, at times. We can talk contact depth & bat angle when it comes to hitting ball away, not just approach. I see a lot of bad BP & games swings from guys that over exaggerate either side too much.

My fault, I should have mentioned that I wasn’t attacking you, or your account/post.
I was more talking about the baseball communities lack of context in the post. I wish the post had that post in the original because that’s impactful.
The younger generation I tell with will see the original post & digest it as the law “don’t pull the ball” rather than what you just said. If all your training is pull side homers you’re not developing anything.
In no way was it a shot to you just a statement if I wish we didn’t have to give context to it but sadly we do in this Information Age. Hope that makes sense.

I’m tired of this narrative.
Multiple things happening here…
1. Pujols has a simpler mechanic which would require making sure he was prepared for the outside corner.
2. All the BP pitches are thrown outside so he isn’t forcing the ball to RF rather driving it.
3. Albert Pujols has had years to understand what makes him go.
Posting this with just the quote doesn’t portray the real genius here. The real genius is in being self aware to know what your swing needs to be affective in games.
