Since I got blocked after this person said this, I’ll go ahead and post my reply here because “he can’t” doesn’t mean shit right now. The little narcissist block bc I said something they don’t agree with is also exactly the type of shit that kills our party. “I don’t wanna hear what you have to say because I don’t agree with you” is how we lost support over the last 4 years. “He can’t” doesn’t mean anything when he’s doing everything in his power to do it right now. “He can’t” is what people said as he somehow dismantled the entire country and was blocking Biden’s bills and policies as President when he wasn’t even in office. Stop saying he can’t, he has the resources, he thinks he can, and he is doing it right now. Will it stick? Not sure. But he has been doing what people have said “he can’t do” back to back to back for almost a decade. His success rate is very high and his team of lawyers and administration and think tanks all make sure of it. People saying “he can’t” help them do it because you’re giving a false sense of security that doesn’t exist right now. “They can’t” is how the Nazi’s managed to march on Europe in the 1940s. Because people just turned their heads and said “they can’t” until they did.

@ThunderChicken @FPWellman Are you sure about that? If govt's first priority is the safety of the people then Biden/Dems should do what is necessary to keep people safe - even from themselves. It appears instead of rising to the challenge, they intend to just hand over the keys

Democrats gained seats in Congress. At the beginning of this term Dems had 213 seats. Next term we will have 215 seats. Trump is at less than 50% of the popular vote. This was not a landslide election. The GOP does not have a mandate. Voters want both parties to work together.
