@r90673266 @Cadillac_F1 @ValtteriBottas @SChecoPerez I thought Cadillac had more long-term plans when they chose two experienced drivers to build and develop the team.
I’d rather see them finish the race than take each other out *cough*
Their best-before date has already passed... #

@PederSthlm @Cadillac_F1 @ValtteriBottas @SChecoPerez First rule of F1 is to beat your teammate. Bottas was known to be a good qualifier yet he is being outqualified by Perez who no one rated over 1 lap
English

@r90673266 @Cadillac_F1 @ValtteriBottas @SChecoPerez I don’t think that’s what Cadillac should be focusing on right now. Even if Bottas had been 1.5 seconds faster, he would have only passed his teammate.
English

@Cadillac_F1 @ValtteriBottas @SChecoPerez Bottas needs to up his qualifying game. Bottas was good at qualifying in Williams & Merc so it's disappointing to see Checo outqualifying him.
English

@ponchogozalo @Israel_enciso @diegofmejia @SChecoPerez Bottas is a pro... Checo need to stop complaining and focus on building the team.
English

Another step in the right direction. Both cars see the finish line during our second-ever Grand Prix 🤝

@Steve_Dangle Why can’t the Canadian players stay in the Olympic Village like all the other athletes?
English

@Steve_Dangle Why did the Canadian players choose not to stay together as a team in the Olympic Village?
Don’t you normally need to spend time together — and maybe even mingle with other top athletes — to build team chemistry? #Diva #McD

@chrispronger Why not have two Canadian refs? That would probably be the fairest. They’re the best anyway.
English

@lyadushka @grantmccagg Fair enough — at least you’ve seen the games 😉 Also, I’m Finnish too.
English

@PederSthlm @grantmccagg Teräväinen absolutely, dude looked awful the whole tournament. Us fins were begging them to switch the 2 since the first game
English

@grantmccagg In a tournament like this, it’s about building a team, not always focusing on individual performances in a game.
He definitely has a much better chance of getting a bigger role next time.
English

@BruceLeVinePuck Of course Canada has better players and should win easily
But if you want “fair play,” you use neutral refs.
That would never happen in, for example, football.
English

Mikko Rantanen didn’t blame the refs.
Honest and correct answer from the Moose
Ryan O'Hara@OHaraSports
Mikko Rantanen on today’s 3-2 loss to Canada. “We tried, but when you defend for 25 to 30 seconds in your defensive zone, there's not one guy in the world who can go on offence after that. They were just coming at us. The third period was tighter, but they were still pushing hard and found a way. “I'm proud of every guy - how we battled and defended really hard. I’m just proud of every guy, but the defeat doesn't make us happy now at all.” #goavsgo @TheHockeyNews #olympics2026
English

@WJCrankings I have noticed this hasn't mattered in the past. I've seen canadian refs throw a bunch of random calls against canadian hockey teams before.
Hell i've seen american refs, call stuff that was very soft/weak in favour of canada. and vice versa for canadian refs against team usa
English

@emanningwrites @OutiTor My view of Canada has changed a lot over the past few weeks. 👈
English

@emanningwrites @OutiTor 🤷♂️ Canada could’ve said no. The refs could’ve said no. It’s like in curling — you just say sorry, I touched the stone, that’s not allowed. This is Olympics 😉
English

@emanningwrites @OutiTor Finland doesn’t have players who can dominate games on their own, so they need to play smart, tactical hockey, close things down, and force Canada wide.
So why would Canada want Canadian referees if it’s about fair play?
English

@OutiTor @PederSthlm Yes, there are. But did the Canadian refs prevent the Finns from taking shots on goal?
English

@jabo_vancouver I don’t think a Finnish player would’ve gotten a penalty if the situation had been reversed. 🤷♂️
But why would Canada want to play a semifinal with Canadian referees in the first place?
If you really want to be fair play
