@DPearsonPHL The Linc uses almost entirely grass for the turf. They’re just changing out the soccer grass for football grass. Football grass more suited for the quick cuts by players and reduces slipping. There were a couple international NFL games played on soccer grasses; too much slipping.

I understand why schools and rec centers prefer turf. They need to use their fields 10+ times per week, which isn't really feasible with grass. But NFL games occur on a weekly basis for less than half the year. There's no reason they can't use grass.

A couple key bumps practically has no downsides like taking a drag of a cig. It’s pretty overrated and not worth it
