...It’s sad that Nigeria has so many terrorist sympathizers hiding under different cloaks and disguises.

@yojora @Osi_Suave That was my constituency before I left Lag. It's always been Femi leaning on people to step down for Desmond. I've been away from Surulere for a few years now but I'll be genuinely surprised if Desmond has suddenly gotten so popular that he can win on his own.

@Osi_Suave That is exactly what will happen today, he’ll be defeated but the reason people called on him to step down is cos that is how they have always called on his opponents to step down. Despite serving 2 straight terms, this was how he got it in 2022 as well.

@walelead @Mr_JAGs Lmao she’ll try again next time.. when it was decided day before yesterday, it was eventually between Desmond & Fuad Laguda. Desmond emerged and others have agreed to support him from what I’m hearing, at least Fuad has.

I have a theory. If the APC doesnt want Desmond Elliot to run. Rather than leaning on him to step down, why not defeat him at the primaries since the party controls the structure. Just curious.

@JajiKazeemAttah Kwara politicians only become visible at elections time. I thought Kwara South was the only unfortunate region, then I realised Aluko and Shagaya were no better.

@ajayi_g @Gen_Buhar This is it for me. The best of us are sometimes the people in the lowest stations. There is still that good 10 percent of Nigerians.

It was a sunny day yesterday, a proud day for me as I watched my daughter take her oath at the Yaba College of Technology matriculation ceremony. From nursery to now, I’ve prayed for this day. Seeing her step into tertiary education makes me grateful to God and hopeful for what’s ahead. I’m proud of you. Stay focused, stay humble, and make the most of this opportunity. Almighty Allah is behind you all the way. Happy new chapter, my scholar. I wish you success, wisdom, and protection throughout your time at Yaba Tech.

@O1Ollyman @DanielWhalee I hope that in your lifetime, you'll gain 2 things. 1. Manners and etiquette so that you'll know how to live among human beings. 2. Ability to live above your willful ignorance so that you'll not continue to be deliberately obtuse.

I heard Seyi Makinde carries his own bag. He doesn’t have a house in Lagos or anywhere outside Ibadan. I hope Peter Obi, being a statesman, will step down for someone like Makinde—meets the southern candidate criteria too—who is much younger and has the recency bias capacity for good leadership.

Celebrating the man @FolaFagbule, whom I have known since I was that tall. I wish you lots of love and a wonderful life ahead. @FagbuleTayo, see your brother, oh. Your parents will be so proud. You have achieved so much, and this is a milestone that has been a long time coming. I wish I was there; my gele is right there taking the air and that is such a shame. But to brighter things, the bride is lovely

The Coastal Highway and the Badagry–Sokoto Superhighway could fundamentally reshape Nigeria’s economy, logistics architecture, and even its socio-cultural interactions. I suspect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu understands that relying solely on conventional budgeting cycles and traditional contracting procedures might slow, distort, or even derail projects of this magnitude. That may explain why his administration appears determined to pursue unconventional approaches to ensure their completion. If successfully delivered, these roads could redefine national connectivity and commerce. There may well be a “pre” and “post” Coastal–Sokoto corridor era in Nigeria, like how major railways and interstate systems transformed other nations. From Calabar to Lagos, and onward to Sokoto through Badagry, the implications could be enormous: faster movement of goods, lower logistics costs, expanded internal trade, new industrial clusters, tourism growth, and deeper social integration across regions. In many ways, these corridors have the potential to become not just roads, but economic arteries capable of reshaping the Nigerian state itself.

The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project made me understand what political will truly means.Normally, a project like this could take 4–5 years to even commence because of endless bottlenecks and “settlements.” But this started immediately & hasn’t stopped for a day. Political will.

I used to spend everything I had. I would even borrow to lend to people. I thought it was my previous salary that wasn't enough. Then I got a new job with 4 times the salary and the same thing was happening. I had to borrow myself sense. Now, I save before I spend a dime. I also got an investment app. Anytime I feel like spending, I spend it there. I no longer have free money anywhere. One day, work go finish, nobody go pity you.
