The mapping interface is powered by @aboutgeo's magnificent Peripleo system (software dev partly funded by @nat_collection @britishlibrary) and enables searches based around geocoded findspots and the publicly accessible geodata sourced from @findsorguk

In 2013, the @ahrcpress funded @micropasts project began a journey to use the power of the crowd to digitise thousands of index cards in the @britishmuseum focused on Bronze Age metalwork. A new website combines these with @findsorguk at bronze-age-index.micropasts.org #Archaeology
