All super fair takes, but let me give you my side 1. Regarding the token, since i directly called it out. Its very simple, if we do a token, im not sure why someone would want that other one. If we did, it would have a backing or a purpose and it would be the wassie token everyone asks us for constantly. Im just introducing that idea to people so they arent shocked if it happens. When i say there is no wassie token, im saying there is no @wassie token. Obviously anyone can make anything they want to. 2. I agree theres no such thing as a fake wassie, i regret my wording a bit. I am just working so hard on my @wassie that i want people to know exactly the wassie im working for There is no fake wassie, but there is also only one wassie company doing good and pouring every dollar back into the cause (and so many more) You can view me as evil for this, but fragmentation never lead to anything that great. If wassie is to become something it needs to unite, not disperse into factions. Tribalism vs unity. I am working to find a way to unite different wassie artists in an organized way, and all them all to make a living. But this isnt that easy. The goal was never to tear others down, and i appreciate you calling me out on it tbh, im glad theres a conversation. i do this for free and i do it to advance wassies and give people more experiences with wassies

Hi Wassers, A thread to the good SmolTing, who welcomes all Wassies and the hard Monkey Rothschild. I really can’t agree with what Monkey Rothschild said, even though I’m a big holder of Wassieverse. He calls all other Wassie projects “fake.” But Wassie isn’t about fighting other projects — it’s about creating something big together. I don’t think Wassieverse will succeed in pushing Wassies as a mainstream PFP. The reason is simple: there’s a huge personalization process going on. People are creating their own Wassies, commissioning custom ones from artists, or designing them themselves — and that’s what makes it so amazing. Many artists are offering custom Wassies, and this creativity is what gives the community strength. That shouldn’t be a problem for Wassieverse. It’s still the blue-chip NFT to get access across blockchains through Wassification. Monkey says others are fake, yet Wassies are being used to “wassify” other chains, like Bitcoin Ordinals. Artists who bring Wassies to these chains are doing real work, and I could never call that fake. I also hope Wassieverse increases plushie production — many Wassers want them. Done right, they could even outperform Pudgy Penguins in popularity. It’s not fair to criticize other projects for failing on their first try when Wassieverse itself started on ETH and only gained traction after the redrop on Sol. They were in the same situation before, so attacking others now doesn’t sit right with me. Wassification will become the backbone of CT. Someone called it a study in organic growth, and I like that — because I can see the steady progress. There’s also a Wassie token on ETH, taken over by the community in August 2023, and it has been growing ever since. Maybe Monkey Rothschild wants to launch his own token and is trying to discredit the established one. But the real community token for Wassers and for CT will always be Wassie on ETH. Many artists — well-known ones, too — are constantly creating memes for the true Wassie token and sponsoring custom Wassies. That is anything but fake. The market has seen big corrections, but the strength of the Wassie token is undeniable. Wassers hold together. There isn’t a single fake Wassie NFT collection out there and there is only one Wassie token — Wassie on ETH. I am not in any way affiliated with any of these projects, this is just my opinion and not financial advice.
