This bodes incredibly well for @j_fishback's campaign in Florida. I've met Casey and like him alot. But an AI analysis estimates that Casey has held 25 official campaign events. It really could be more, but having followed him for 5 months that seems about right. If he was holding events daily, they weren't being broadcasted online or promoted. By contrast, James has held hundreds of events, including events attended BY hundreds. Additionally, as an objective statement of fact Casey is older and has much less charisma as a speaker and politician. James is very connected with younger voters and has gone mega-viral DOZENS of times since starting his campaign. By contrast, Casey never had a viral moment or ever connected as well with younger voters on college campuses like James (as best I can tell). Vivek is a bad candidate. He will probably lose Ohio. But Byron Donalds make Vivek look like Nixon. Byron's past is riddled with crime and missteps and he is a tenth as articulate and accomplished as Vivek. James also has three more months to campaign. Casey ran a mostly online campaign, with less time than James, less money, held less events, had no viral moments and was going up against the better candidate. And he STILL got 20% of the vote. James is facing a worse candidate, has hit the campaign trail daily for months, has more support, more money, more virality, and more energy, again, against a WORSE candidate. This isn't shade at Casey. He's a great man and a hard worker. But James is running a better campaign and has the wind at his back. Fishback for governor.
