We are not the Britain of the Brexit years anymore. We must look outwards, and work with our European neighbours to keep our country safe. There is no British security without Europe, and no European security without Britain.

@GMB Refuse collectors, once the bins have been emptied leave the empty bins on the middle of the pavement making it very difficult for pedestrians to use the pavement itself. Bins are very big, not always able to store them out of sight and some residents don’t get home till late

A council is considering fining households that fail to remove their bins once they’ve been emptied. Supporters are calling it “bin blight,” claiming that the bins devalue homes and clutter the pavements. But is it fair to fine households for leaving bins out?
