Its a year today that Aura adopted me from Second Chance Spaniel Rescue. We have been volunteering with #PetsAsTherapy and we wanted to share how rewarding we are finding this. We are visiting a care home, dementia cafe & a school. Happy Easter to past colleagues & friends.
This is my last post on X. Not seeing posts from accounts I follow is just annoying. I loved Twitter but I’m sick of the racism, vitriol, conspiracy theories & adverts here. Account will be deleted on Saturday. See ya!
Happy 16th work anniversary to Lorna Taylor! 🎉

@EnvAgencyMids can you check your flood alert system please. I’ve had no notifications about Bewdley’s Severnside North barriers being deployed. And we didn’t get them last time until after the barriers eventually went up. Your guys confirmed the redeployment this afternoon.
Fancy coming aboard and joining Dudley Zoo as a train driver? 🚂

@DaveThroup@EnvAgency@DaveThroup they were so wrong in Bewdley this year. When it was just you guys the sign on the lamp post told us if was above or below worktop height. Since David died and I’m on my own that sudden flood possibility was scary.
🤞Fingers firmly crossed for this evening! We're so pleased to be finalists for the Family Business of the Year with the Black Country Chamber and look forward to an evening with fellow finalists at the Business Awards tonight. 🏆

@FellaOffTelly Keith -As you are researching WW2 have you got a series of books called The First (to sixth) Years of War in pictures. Six books, not of value but I wouldn’t want them scrapped. let me know and any time you are in Bewdley you could collect. miss you in the floods.
That’s all folks - my time at BBC Hereford & Worcester has come to an end. Thank you to all who have been part of it over the years, especially this bunch of incredible people. @bbchw
@theandrewe please say special hi to Mrs PV & Max T. Worked with them on the @bbchw local radio advisory council. Can’t see you all later as you’ve lost out to the famous Bewdley Soup Trail.
#KEEPBBCLocalRadioLocal. Supported @bbchw today by visiting the picket line at the station. Please check on the reason for their action. Love your area then love your local BBC station. @NUJofficial
