And I'll add that 95% of the time, you'd actually be incredibly impressed by their professionalism. But the second it tips, it unravels quickly and they become incredibly immature.

Look, I've worked enough pro games between the penalty boxes to confidently know when the referees are making it personal. That's exactly what you're seeing here.

Mantha is pinned to the boards. Stick is tied up as players use their feet for positioning. Kindel is dragged to the ice off the next face-off. Both are probably a bit ticky tacky. But when you blow the call on Karlsson, there's about as much grey area as puck over glass.

I want to know how many times Bourque has been fined on a broadcast. I love it.

I mean that's a penalty on Soderblom all day. But at this point the Stars shouldn't be able to breathe on a Pens player, and there have been plenty of opportunities to "even" it up a bit.

Even in "game management" situations, this Penguins team gets absolutely zero calls.
