Rachel Reeves wants to get her hands on YOUR savings. £400 billion of auto-enrolment pension funds. So do Reform. It’s a power that no government should have. Conservatives will vote to stop them tomorrow. This is your money, not the Government’s.

@PensionsMonkey I spent all my working life in the pensions world, lastly as Head of Pensions for a FTSE 100 company. That company is a leading investment manager. Even in that environment, you would be amazed how little attention most employees pay to their pension investments so the role.. 1/2

What is Starmer scared of? What is he hiding on Mandleson? I’m sick of listening to Starmer’s pre-scripted drivel masquerading as answers at #PMQs We know the answer to the question @KemiBadenoch asked him 6 times, he just doesn’t want to say it. So I called him out for it.

@seledka_vodka @KemiBadenoch Spot on. I think someone should explain to Starmer how PMQs is supposed to work. I don't remember any previous Prime Minister being quite so brazen about blatantly ignoring the questions they're asked.

PMQs today was, yet again, a complete shambles. By this point, everyone is used to the fact that Prime Minister's Questions stopped being Prime Minister's Questions a long time ago. Starmer wriggles like a worm as @KemiBadenoch directs rightful scrutiny at his complete lack of judgment - and God knows what else he might be covering up - when it comes to appointing Peter Mandelson, whose ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were known before appointment, as Britain's ambassador in Washington. Starmer has spent PMQs pressing the false claim that Kemi changed her position on Britain's involvement in military operations alongside the US and Israel against Iran. Kemi's position has never changed. She never advocated for Britain to join the initial strikes on Iran. Her position has always been clear on two points. First, Britain should have provided the US our bases without hesitation the moment they asked. Second, once British bases in the region were attacked by Iran - including RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus and the SAS base in Erbil - we should have responded with counter-force fire to suppress Iran's missile launch sites and drone capabilities. That is a perfectly proportionate and necessary response. It attacks the bottleneck of Iran's ability to strike our bases, and it saves the RAF from flying ultra-expensive equipment chasing cheap one-way attack drones. Lastly, Kemi standing by @NJ_Timothy, who branded the mass public prayers by Muslims in Trafalgar Square as an act of cultural domination, was true leadership. The Conservative Party is disciplined, cohesive, and standing up for things that matter to British people. Its renewal is well underway.

In thinking of the legacy of Paul Ehrlich, the following by CS Lewis springs to mind: "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

Keir Starmer is literally doing a press conference today where he is blatantly lying and gaslighting the nation. Labour have NOT brought inflation down to 3%. It was 2% under the Conservatives at the last general election. Labour have INCREASED inflation to 3%. Facts matter.
