I suspect the Pearls knew Bruce was done well before the announcement was made. The timing of it was intentional, it backed Auburn into a corner.

I legit feel bad for Steven Pearl. Sure he got to skip a couple steps bc of his Dad, but I don't think Bruce actually set him up for success here. The timing of his resignation was flat out unfair to both the players and SP. And the roster isn't good enough to make up for that.

@BradfemlyWalsh I had one without sedation/pain med in 1994. Male ob/gyn. Afterward I was doubled over in pain & couldn't walk. My husband came to take me home. Until the last year or I found out that I should have been sedation & given pain meds. All my doctors now are women.

I was indeed booked to have the procedure with IV sedation+pain relief by the female consultant I saw. HOWEVER, a male gynaecologist was assessing cases and decided I did not need sedation or even basic pain relief so cancelled the IV without anyone telling me. How nice of him!

Want to talk about medical misogyny? I was due to have a hysteroscopy (v painful gynae procedure) next week with sedation. I rang with a mundane question and the staff were confused, saying no sedation is booked. After being put through to various people, I finally got an answer:
