I would be perfectly content if the Absolute incarnation became the sole version moving foward.
Loved the Pre and Post-Crisis incarnations for a time, but nothing of value has been produced from mainline Wondie in about 16 years.

@spikira25 I really want a fanmade UT prequel game to have the metanarrative of being a prequel game and the fact that no matter what you or the characters do, the end is the same. The human *has* to die in the underground and the futility in trying to change that fact.

its a good game but its not a good UNDERTALE game. it plays nice the art is nice and the music ranges from servicable to amazing but the story is missing The Sauce. its like if you took the bones of UT's story and instead of adding meat you dipped them in gravy

i really dislike how as the years have gone by, they've made him progressively more machine than man in his design. in his debut, he still had plenty of skin showing while still evidently being part machine. it's weird and dehumanizing to me.

@Pepperislost I think making her be that safe would be boring, it’s expanded in multiple books on how her not having a secret identity puts her loved ones in danger and what sacrifices would she make like not spending as much time as she’d used to

I actually had an idea for a spin off of the boys before Gen v came out about a team of actual do gooding supes. Main guy had a chameleon power. Gen v kinda fills that space. Not much else you can do worh this verse
