@MHIIisKing He has some good games still, but so do pitchers like Grant Holmes. I don't see why blowing up our farm system for somebody who wouldn't be a significant improvement to our starting rotation is a good idea.

Bart is a good addition. I get SICK of the smart-ass remarks on Braves Twitter. These are the same people that laughed at the Dubon, Mateo and Perez additions. They need a life away from here.

@CrosbyBaseball @JoeBensonJr Agreed. It's just a matter of Leon not being serviceable offensively at a time when the offense is slumping pretty hard overall. Needed a backup catcher who can hit.

@BeaneaterB @leprekhan People seem to forget that Murphy is the best catcher in baseball, at least defensively, and his offensive production was poor because he didn't have a spring training. He didn't get a lot of chances to regain his offensive form.

The Braves traded for Joey Bart last night. A fine depth move to help until Sean Murphy returns and to provide some insurance. It's also a move that some fans will overreact to because he went to Georgia Tech and was a former top draft pick. I don't look forward to that at all.
