@CBedfordDC @theblaze All the replies defending Steve when he just made up bullshit stories and acted like they were huge breaks lol. The Blaze is lucky to survive his libel. Y’all really not see the liability of falsely naming someone a terrorist for clicks lol.

Blaze News is on the hunt for investigative reporters. We're talking top people - or those willing to get there. That means waking up with a raging hunger for breaking news, exposing truth, shattering narratives, and dominating the competition. And by the way, a lot of that competition won't like you. That isn't simply because you're excellent at your job and work harder than they do, but because you'll be digging into topics and subjects they'd never dare disturb. You see, most Washington reporters are undercover palace guards for establishment norms. Don't care what they think. In fact, relish in it. They envy your freedom, so let that be your caffeine, your nicotine and your morning workout all in one concentrated dose. What is a top investigator? It isn't just someone willing to break news, but someone who is able. It takes a combination of being bold but also being careful. Details are everything. Spreadsheets, financial disclosures, donation records, FOIAs, and hidden secrets all take clear-eyed, calculated inspection - and meticulous double checking. But it isn't just spread sheets and records all day. The right candidates will uncover facts like a scholarly archaeologist, investigate theories like a homegrown Graham Hancock, set traps like a frontier mountain man, and then rush in, putting their subjects on-record in hallways, stairwells, and in their offices. Journalism is a trade. We don't care if you went to school for it. We care if you're voraciously hungry, fanatically driven, painstakingly scrupulous, pugnacious and prolific. We want to put wins on the board. Our readers want to see wins on that board. Email me if you think you've got that good fight in you.

Stephen A. Smith is not a conservative or a Republican; he is a capitalist. His entire perspective is based on the idea that to succeed in society, one needs capital. He has been highly successful in this endeavor, even helping many individuals enter the industry, only for them to criticize him in return. While he does fund and support initiatives that aim to advance our community, this alone is not enough to satisfy those who hold power. These self-appointed gatekeepers of Black America, primarily Democrats, collaborate with the political class to dictate the pace of our progress. This is why they want to eliminate Stephen A. Smith. He is demonstrating to the public that there is an alternative path to success. For this perceived offense, they will stop at nothing to end his career. Regardless of his humble beginnings, the numerous community centers and schools he funds, or the fact that he loves the people he serves, they will attempt to convince the very people he cares about that they are the ones he despises. This is an evil tactic, but it is not a new one.

Everyone knew ncaa tournament expansion to 76 was inevitable. Almost nobody wants it. Those trying to argue its merits are gaslighting you. I’ve written it many times — it’s a lousy development that contributes to the erosion of what makes college sports great.

Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.

You won’t be missed. I promise. A white @Mizzou student reaches out and heavily praises this dude. But he chooses to play identity politics. None of what he wrote here applies to “journalism”…whatever that is these days.

Until Mizzou becomes a more welcoming and tolerant place for all young people, I cannot in good conscience continue to travel to a campus that has shown a pattern of hostility toward minority students in recent years. LINK 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾 kansascity.com/opinion/opn-co…

So far this week: Trump threatened to wipe out a civilization on Tuesday. Announced a ceasefire on Wednesday. Israel leveled parts of Beirut on Thursday. Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz, AGAIN. Gulf states are still intercepting drones. 13 American service members are dead. Over 3,400 Iranians killed. 1,500 dead in Lebanon. And this administration has the nerve to call this a win. They light the world on fire and then take credit for calling the fire department.

Ceasefire's barely 24 hours old, and Israel (our greatest ally) is already blowing it up, literally. Largest coordinated strike on Lebanon since the war began. But sure, another masterclass in negotiation from the guy who threatened to wipe out an entire civilization the day before. Stable genius stuff.

It's astonishing that you, a world leader who many respected for standing up to an illegal attack on your country, now support an illegal attack on another country. It completely kills your credibility. Right now. Iran is Ukraine. You may not like to hear that but that is a fact
Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський@ZelenskyyUa

It is unfortunate that the UN Security Council has once again failed to demonstrate effectiveness and act decisively in the face of such a global threat as the Iranian regime's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. No one should be allowed to block such globally significant sea lanes or undermine the security of dozens of nations through terrorist attacks against the freedom of navigation. We faced a similar challenge in the Black Sea when the Russians attempted to block our ports and civilian shipping—Russia was trying to suffocate our economy. And we found a way to solve that problem through decisive action, not inaction. Now, we see a similar problem on a global scale. The Strait of Hormuz must remain open to all vessels that sustain vital economy lifelines and maintain normal international trade. Countries in the region have spoken clearly on this, and we support the aspirations of the people of the Middle East and the Gulf for peace. Peace and security in this region directly impact stability, market predictability, and the cost of living in every single country. Such problems and this war must not be prolonged. The world needs a functional UNSC that acts more decisively to resolve acute security challenges of global magnitude.
