@Bert_Plumswang When launched HMS M2 had a 12-inch gun turret like her sister vessels, but this was removed and replaced with the hangar for the seaplane.

Submarine/aircraft carrier? With a big turret? HMS M2 was launched in 1918 and was armed with a single fixed 12-inch gun and torpedos. M2 could also carry a Parnall Peto seaplane. Sadly, she sank in an accident in 1932, killing her crew of 60.

@dooger1967 @TheyComeUnseen Thanks for the post; glad you’re enjoying TCU! To add more destruction, try the ‘Torpedo Attack’ rule. It only took about 50 years to appear after I had thought it would be impossible to achieve (rule detail at the TCU website). TCU’s development has been famously slow!

@NavyLookout I was the Sonar Officer & a watch leader for this op: Agile Eagle. We were all pretty new to the brave new world of towed arrays so Richard Farnfield’s achievement was all the more impressive, & yet he was the most modest of men. A great leader & outstanding submariner. RIP.
