On February 10, 2026, in an exclusive interview with The All-In Podcast, Binance founder CZ recalled the hardships of his early immigration to Canada. He mentioned that his father worked as a university teaching assistant with a monthly salary of only 1,000 CAD, and the family lived in cheap faculty housing.
His mother started working as a seamstress in a sewing factory on their third day in Canada, a job she held for seven to ten years. CZ applied for a job at McDonald's on his 14th birthday, and although the hourly wage was only $4.50, he earned his first income there.

This is simply insane. In France, a company must pay €95,000 for a gross salary of €60,000 to pay the employee a net €40,000.
Can you imagine the incentive to replace French office jobs with AI? It’s game over for the big state and its absurd tax burden within two years.
