Yes this is harsh, but the US is well within its rights to demand this. They want the border to be a border. Canada has 2 months notice to implement these demands. If these tariffs hit, it would be incredibly painful for Canadians.

You’re not allowed to stop and watch the Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix without a ticket and stopping in a pedestrian walking zone or on a bridge with a view will get you a ticket, a fine or worse trouble. A few locals and tourists are circumventing this by utilizing the escalators at Spring Mountain and Las Vegas Blvd outside Fashion Show Mall. As long as you keep moving, security will leave you alone.
