Right before Byron Buxton launched that, Dan Gladden was talking about how the Twins wanted him to hit for contact, go the other way, etc as a younger hitter. The talking point was how he’s too established now to want to change that still. It’s the same thought process that stunted Austin Martin and Brooks Lee at times too. Sometimes when a guy shows you they know what works, let it.
