"The things that are crucial for the football club" that's the key quote, even if he leaves, in his current role(as with most people in any job) he has to help club plan ahead pre season trips/games etc. You would expect no more than that.

Silva is trying to navigate a very narrow pr passage of not booting us off while keeping the door open as long as possible for more attractive possibilities to open up but it's got a time limit. He must know this too and everyone must have a shit or get off the pot deadline.

Highly likely that Fulham will attempt to do the Pepi deal outside of the window. He's a long term target for Fulham & Silva. Whether PSV will be willing to do the deal ahead of the summer is a different matter.
