@PeteBryan11 @AnnakayKel27030 @JamaicaObserver I don’t go back and forth with men about the reproductive rights of women because it’s not their space. Be blessed you’re muted forever.

Dear Mrs Macaulay,
My wife tied off after our first child, without me being aware. We agreed to have three children, but she went ahead and did the procedure, and I wasn’t aware, until I was searching for some documents recently and found her medical records. Can I sue her for breach of contract and deception? I don’t want our child to be raised as an only child, and now she has put me in a position where we will have a broken home.

@ClydeWilliams46 Clyde, know you must vex say them a run a big pattyshop. I'm all for a competent opposition, but them nuh make sense for two election cycle now. Know Dr. Phillips must a cuss in his retirement.
English

@notmygrass @AnnakayKel27030 @JamaicaObserver Are you making assumptions as to the cause for her decision or just spewing general assumptions as to why she made that decision. Have you ever heard about false fallacy? That's what is going on right now.
English

@PeteBryan11 @AnnakayKel27030 @JamaicaObserver If he has moral cares about his wife then she probably wouldn’t have chosen to sneak. As the other person said it takes a lot to carry and bring a child into the world, she had to consider her health first and foremost. If she died in labour he would simply move on…
English

@AnnakayKel27030 @ekralc22 @JamaicaObserver It's not entitlement. It's about moral and emotional ties to a relationship, if a woman wishes to have more kids and the man doesn't want any, by all means they must look and say it won't work as well. That's one reason there are so many divorces. It's a union, after all.
English

@PeteBryan11 @ekralc22 @JamaicaObserver You men feel really entitled to women’s bodies. You men will never understand what it takes to bring a child here but y’all want to dictate when and how many. Heights of audacity!
English

@PeteBryan11 @ekralc22 @JamaicaObserver I agree she should’ve communicated her decision but make no mistake it is still her decision to make.
English

@ekralc22 @JamaicaObserver Exactly, I'm not against feminists, but her response is giving me that she's on the high end of that spectrum 🤣. Very aggressive, almost masculine in nature.
English

@PeteBryan11 @JamaicaObserver I got that too....she's not wrong in her advice but she could have softened it somewhat.
English

@JamaicaObserver Divorce her and cut general. There's no trust.
English

@Nyamsome @AbkaFitzHenley Furthermore, all other areas of commerce have been increasing prices. Food manufacturers, goods manufacturers, parts prices due to imports, etc. It's only fair, it looks bad that we can only dictate price on a small subset and can't touch other industries.
English

@PeteBryan11 @AbkaFitzHenley Ano taxi man alone a feel the pinch..
Some a them increase them fare already too
English

Engaged in productive interactions today with groups representing transport operators during a meeting led by Transport Minister Daryl Vaz and which featured an address from Finance Minister Fayval Williams .
During the meeting, the Transport Ministry committed to bringing to Cabinet on June 1, 2026 the issue of an outstanding 16 per cent fare increase for public passenger vehicle (PPV) operators.
We also expressed awareness of and sensitivity to the challenges facing transport operators and noted that the Government has been absorbing a significant portion of rising global oil costs since February 2026.
We noted that following review by the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service, the matter will be taken to Cabinet for a final determination on whether the adjustment will be implemented in full or through a phased approach with a defined timeline and effective date.

English

@Nyamsome @AbkaFitzHenley 1 You have bus operators too. The thing is, you have a lot who conform, especially the route service providers. Hackney Carriage groups are the unruly set, and they're getting less due to transport's drive to create more routes. Remember, there are many more rural taxi operators.

@PeteBryan11 @HoneyTk @Chezlie_s The US doesn't only have private hospitals. They have state run hospitals as well for lower income or people without insurance. But even if they did have only private ones, wouldn't it mean that regular citizens would also have access to advanced treatment and proper care?
English

@1AbbyGailWhite @HoneyTk @Chezlie_s Yeah, but most times, it's private. The U.S. only has private hospitals, and the children's ones mostly receive incentives.
English

@HoneyTk @Chezlie_s They use hospitals in their own country. Shhh if you don't know something
English

@whymidehhere @Gordonswaby Same, I now have two digicel numbers for a year now, and I used to have a single Flow number for years. Flow messing up big time.
English

@Gordonswaby Had to switch one of my phones from flow to Digicel cus ppl could only get me occasionally on the flow. Was missing very important calls and in my profession tht could mean life or death. Very very slack, cus there was no communication tht there were issues with the company
English

I remember when I could dial a number on my phone and it would just ring…
Now? You dial a number, it doesn’t ring, and if you’re lucky the other party gets a text message saying they missed a call from you #Jamaica.
This has been going on for at least 2 months. Both networks.
English

@kiz_instyle Straight murder that. Which walk free, this a the first mi against police in this situation.
English

@ShellyCurran You are being politically ridiculous. The people of Grants Pen should be happy that their MP, @Delroychuckjm Delroy Chuck, passed such a bill.
The people of Grants Pen are hard working respectable people.
