plugins ui stopped showing up in the codex app they are triggering if i mention them explicitly in the prompt but the ui is not showing up, i can't @ them this is so frustrating tbh i really hope the codex app won't turn into a slopfest sloppy apps is one of the reasons i unsubbed from claude

We found and fixed two issues that could explain this degradation of the capability of GPT-5.5 in Codex over the last ~ 48 hours.
We are monitoring over the coming hours to fully confirm and I will reset usage limits this evening.

Codex team is aware of reports of GPT-5.5 performing worse for some users and investigating. We don't have anything conclusive yet and systems are healthy but we will share updates as we go.

@PeteCapeCod Just a quick correction: Socket Firewall is free, has no monthly limit, and is not tied to your Socket account. The 1,000-scan limit on the free tier applies to scans run through your Socket account, such as projects scanned with our GitHub app or CLI.

Apparently @SocketSecurity has a firewall app you can use around your package manager 📦
And it's free for the first 1,000 scans per month.
Seems like a good call for any production projects.

You can use Codex from your iPhone connected to windows with Remodex!
The official app doesn't support that yet, so in the meantime you're welcome to try Remodex out!

I started with One Stack, but switched to expo after some bugs.
I would recommend because at least you know your builds all work.
No real CSS, but hey 🤷🏻♂️

Between debugging and deploying a react native app, it feels like building something on hard mode.
I started this project thinking web first, ship to mobile later. I don’t think that was the right choice.
In the next app I’m gonna get the deployment pipeline working before building anything to minimize issues on this front.
