An agreement has been reached between @ScotGov and @COSLA on education funding, Education Secretary @JennyGilruth confirms. Councils will receive £186.5m next year to maximise teaching posts, protect learning hours and reduce class contact time.

@LeadersScotland @ASCLNI I think CfE philosophy is good for our society. A balance of skills & knowledge. But I agree that the focus on senior phase assessments & the lack of clarity & coherent transition between the BGE and the qualifications disrupt CfE purpose and worth. We need better benchmarks.
