There is fundamental shift going on right now with the Hollywood blockbuster that’s deeper than any superhero fatigue or Star Wars fatigue. It’s middling movie fatigue. Audiences can detect when something isn’t worth seeing in theaters and they are now choosing to vote with their wallets. Studios need to wake up and they better do it fast.
