During filming of A SHOT IN THE DARK (1964) each time anyone corpsed at PETER SELLERS’ comic genius a fine of £5 (£89.72 or $119.01 in today’s money) was levied & put in a kitty. The kitty eventually amassed £200 (£3,588.73 or $4,760.47 in 2026).

I loved revisiting Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978). I had forgotten so many of these jokes besides Cato changing Clouseau’s apartment into a brothel while he’s away. It’s so silly. Peter Sellers as The Godfather bit is hysterical.

I revisited one of my favorite comedies ever: The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976). Endless gags, slapstick, wit, and cameos. Peter Sellers, Herbert Lom, & Lesley-Anne Down are fantastic. Watching Dreyfus try to kill Clouseau is just a perfect premise and tons of fun.
