White House Communications Director @StevenCheung47 has stated clearly in the article and reiterated on X that this is completely fake news. Vice President @JDVance is an exceptionally effective communicator and an invaluable member of President Trump’s team. Vance Derangement Syndrome is real, folks.
Josh Kraushaar@JoshKraushaar

“Susie Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff, recently advised Mr. Vance to take a break from social media, as have other officials in the West Wing, according to people familiar with those interactions, because the fighting was beneath his office” nytimes.com/2026/05/30/us/…

There’s a reason “Dog” is just “God”, backwards; they share an unconditional love for mankind. Both Nithya and Karen Bass ignore these poor animals being killed on Skid Row and in their city shelters. They don’t care. I will put an end to this horror. VOTE to save these animals.

Another disingenuous Washington Post story. The White House and UFC are generously offering tickets for service members and their families to attend this once in a lifetime experience, not “appear as spectators” as WaPo describes in bad faith. Demand for these tickets are so high that waitlists have been created as a result. Service members also have to meet fitness standards every day they wear the uniform, not just to attend special events. This is not a surprise to anyone unless you are not in active duty. We look forward to rewarding our troops with a UFC spectacle they will never forget in honor of America 250! 🇺🇸
The Washington Post@washingtonpost

Breaking news: The Pentagon is moving to recruit hundreds of troops to appear as spectators at President Trump’s UFC cage-fighting event on the White House lawn, and requiring those who attend to pay their own way and meet height and weight requirements. wapo.st/3RFxaIK

There is a misconception that this century’s technological developments and mass communication has made it easier to control voters. In fact, it’s the opposite, it has empowered voters to dislodge entrenched party power, for better or worse.

The Trump “suckers and losers” comment to this day still cannot be corroborated, but Graham Platner said on record that a Purple Heart recipient was a “dumb motherfucker” that “didn’t deserve to live” —and nobody in the media blinked

Polling in Texas was off by nearly 20 points in Cornyn v Paxton. Don’t buy into the obvious psyop via polling being run by Democrats right now. Talarico is not going to win.

Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene are going to try to run for President and VP, aren't they? They're both so delusional they probably think they would have a chance. Gotta admit watching them get 3 whole votes would be hilarious.

@bonchieredstate Wrote about this recently in my analysis of their 2024 autopsy report. Their biggest problem is the lack of a unifying message and messenger. The party, quite simply, lacks a singular identity — no one knows what they stand for. petergiunta.com/p/i-read-the-d…

There are a dozen things Democrats could attack Trump on and possibly make headway, if for no other reason than it’s a midterm year. But they’ve settled on stroking out over “he’s making fountains work again and fixing the reflecting pool.”

@VivaLaAmes11 @drk_2_lite Nancy’s downfall is one that will be studied for decades as perhaps one of the greatest master classes on how to suicide one’s own political career and burn every bridge in the process. PS jealous of your residence in Florence. 🇺🇸🇮🇹

I've been calling out this fake "MAGA" fraud for YEARS. I told ya'll she was a Liz Cheney-style #NeverTrumper. The difference is she's smarter than Liz. She saw the impending political doom and changed course real quick... but she never changed her hate for Trump or MAGA.

I know I put the likelihood of an endorsement on the line when I demanded transparency on the Epstein files. I demanded it because you deserved the truth - ALL OF IT - and as a survivor of a corrupt and broken court system, I will always pursue justice for those who deserve it. If sacrificing my values is the price of an endorsement, I will never pay it.

It's a midterm election with a Republican as the president. You're supposed to make the election a referendum on Trump. And I guess Mike Johnson and John Thune. But mostly Trump. Republicans pushed to make this senate election a referendum on Talarico, and Talarico took the bait. That is why he will lose worse than Beto did in 2018. Maybe worse than Allred. Among other things, Talarico isn't a very strong or smart politician. He spends a ton of money to bring in money. And he had to put in effort to beat Jasmine Crockett, a similarly "not great" political actor.
James Talarico@jamestalarico

Ken Paxton is throwing everything he has at us. He’s called me a radical leftist. He’s called me a fake Christian. He’s even called me a vegan! I’m an 8th generation Texan — I've been eating BBQ since before Ken Paxton’s first indictment.

No I won’t pay more for gas so some lefty millionaire can make money off his green energy company and donate to the Democratic Party in exchange for new green regulations. Yes I’ll pay more for gas so Iran doesn’t get a nuclear weapon. It’s not complicated. At all.

@kozzmoknight @Gulag_Reader @shipwreckedcrew And so what? We have plenty to waste. Republicans hold a massive fundraising advantage over Democrats. Stupid that we wasted so much on the primary/run-off and exposed all the oppo. Lessons to be learned, indeed. But not the crisis that some are trying to paint it as.

The closest the Dems have come to winning Texas was 2018 against Cruz. That's the Cruz who was the last challenger to Trump in 2016 in a very personal and vituperative primary -- and the Cruz who gave a convention speech very poorly received by MAGA. That he didn't get a robust turnout in his favor in 2018, combined with the fact that it was a wave-election for Dems, are not the dynamic of the Paxton-Talarico race. It's 55-45 at best for Talarico. And I suspect when those polls begin to show that in August and Sept, his money will shift to other races - like Georgia and Ohio.
Dan McLaughlin@baseballcrank

He's a wave-year candidate. He wins if the wave is big enough. He's not winning anybody over, he's giving them a place to vent at Trump. But if he wins, 2/3 of his term is after Trump leaves.

@shipwreckedcrew Solid assessment. I think 2018 was just a terrible year for Republicans, even beyond the midterm curse that punishes the party in power. The political environment has changed so much since then.

@MustangMan_TX Protest votes are always an interesting put your money where your mouth is test. Those upset over Cornyn’s loss will most likely either vote for Paxton once they realize how terrible Talarico is -or- just stay home. Whatever the decision, we’ve got five more months to go.
