JUST IN: GAMESTOP $GME IS PREPARING TO MAKE AN OFFER FOR EBAY $EBAY
Per the Wall Street Journal:
- GameStop could submit an offer as soon as later this month
- GameStop has been quietly building a stake in eBay shares ahead of the potential offer
- eBay is several times GameStop's size
The market caps:
- GameStop: ~$12 billion
- eBay: ~$46 billion
The deal is part of CEO Ryan Cohen's plan to turn GameStop into a "$100 billion plus juggernaut."

@elonmusk If you believe reparations is solely about slavery, then please study the affect of other U.S. systemic injustices such as, redlining, Jim Crow laws, discrimination, and segregation…to name a few. All of which continued long after the end of slavery was declared.

Why is it right for someone who escaped tyranny in other countries and happens to live in SF to pay “reparations” for something they had nothing to do with?
This is deeply morally wrong.
