Whenever I criticize Trump on Facebook, some boomer always has to jump in to hypothesize on how Kamala Harris would have been much worse. How exactly can one compare what Harris *might have* done to what Trump is *actually* fucking up in real life? When did imagined alternate futures become a counterpoint to fact? "You think Trump is bad? Imagine if the British had won the American Revolution! Imagine if the USSR had landed on the moon first! IMAGINE IF WE HAD GENITALS ON OUR FOREHEADS!" The only valid comparisons - the only way to compare apples to apples - is to put Trump next to prior presidents and the leaders of other democratic countries. And, in making those real-world comparisons, it's obvious how absolutely fucking terrible he is.
