@jethrojcohen You mean you don’t like having to create a new tab group from currently open tabs then go into the tab group settings to delete the tab group in order to close all your tabs?

Tab management on iOS Safari is as bad as it was a decade ago. I have had 500 tabs open since time immemorial

Looking to try out some new coffee roasters in Aus. 80% pour over, 20% cold brews. Usually go with Sample, Single O, Everyday, or Five Senses. Who am I unlikely to know but doing great filter roasts?

@DanBrockwell They don’t replace birks but I recently bought a pair of Teva and I think it’s the closest you can get to feeling like you are barefoot and still get let into an office with a mandatory shoe policy.

How the heck did Havaianas thongs become so popular despite being so mid? Not particularly comfortable, durable or stylish Archies > Havaianas and it's not even close Obvs Birks are S-tier but different price point

For those playing at home, although United don’t have the GOAT film available to stream (“Heat”, and no I’m not open to changing my mind), they do have a top ten contender (“Fast Five”). Yes my taste in film hasn’t changed since I was 16.

The single best thing for my work-life balance is having an early dinner when my partner and I finish work -- it gives a cutoff after which we settle into a nighttime routine. When she's traveling for work, I look up at my laptop clock to find it's 8pm and I'm still emailing.

Canvassing Friday morning HIIT classes for folks in the Melb startup ecosystem. Only rules: don’t take it too seriously and bring a mate. Smoothies on me afterwards. HMU if interested

@jethrojcohen The only game I still play every time they release a new one is Pokémon. It’s no stress, easy, can put it down whenever you want, doesn’t require quick reflexes. Plus lots of nostalgia!

I loved video games as a kid. Since I started working, life got in the way. Every time I consider buying a new game, inertia stops me. I can’t be arsed spending 3 hours to learn basic mechanics, let alone invest 20+ hours. What’re the best games with low time to value and depth?

@DanBrockwell @tunguz @DanBrockwell you assuming this would offend me is what actually offended me. All good data scientists should also be good analysts. Any data scientist that has issues being called a data analyst isn’t a good data scientist.

@jameswstaylor @_azhu_ @jethrojcohen @jameswstaylor Great but loaded q. Very dependent on the subject of the optimisation and what you are trying to optimise. Also limited by data available. Eg Optimising for driver earnings results in a very different solution compared to optimising for delivery times.

@_azhu_ @jethrojcohen Until recently it was only 1 pick up, 2 drop offs. Even in that simple batch there is a lot to optimise. On demand logistics presents many fascinating problems. At scale, the networks are so interconnected that small changes can have large effects. Could talk about this for hours

@jethrojcohen @PeterPhotinos What a gun! I suspect Eats delivery is far more complex with multiple pickup and dropoffs vs one pickup and multiple dropoff?

@VullinghsJ @jethrojcohen That said, bubble.io is probably one of the more versatile no-code solutions I have come across. It has a pretty steep learning curve though. I really like retool.com for low/no-code internal tool development. I think it is one of the more useful tools

@VullinghsJ @jethrojcohen It is really subjective dependent on your use-case. I haven't found a no-code solution that is extensible enough to do "everything" but also still easy to use/approachable enough for no-code users.
