"It feels like I'm getting robbed, and there's nothing I can do," "The federal government has absolutely failed us" The Synapse bankruptcy docket has a new entry apart from the status report: an end user collected impact statements from 99 users, mostly of Yotta & Juno, and they are heart breaking. Users who are trying to escape abusive relationships, are worried about being able to pay for healthcare, laid off & can't access their emergency savings, can't pay their other debts and seeing their credit history/scores negatively impacted, or have had to cash out 401ks. In the most extreme stories, users report resorting to selling plasma or bone marrow to make rent, being evicted and having vehicles repossessed, and even considering suicide.
