For absolutely no reason, @GovernorKayIvey is giving Democrats a free seat in AL-07. The seat is racially gerrymandered (which is against the law), drawing in black voters from across the state into one district.

But what’s not clear if if you can baconstrip a majority minority area to dilute it between neighboring white seats. I would guess not. Alabama likely consulted on this
