Hey, appreciate the question. I felt both Dean and Bilal were progressives in that race. They largely had the same positions on tenant’s right, anti-displacement, transit, social housing, climate change, etc. However, I do feel that we need to figure out how to make it easier/faster/cheaper to build in SF, and I felt Bilal had better answers for that and a fresh perspective.

Everything Zohran campaigned for has overwhelming support across the country. I believe Democrats would do better if they ran on popular policies. If the Democratic Party tent can’t include ideas the vast majority of Americans want, then we will lose.
