Before Alex, the Respawn community was a smattering of hardcore fans that we didn't interact with that much She built a thriving community of fans, artists, streamers, players that we talked to constantly A great loss for the Apex community, but Alex will land on her feet 💪

@TSM_Albralelie @followdunc I’d argue that with the passive giving you free proc’ing / tracking for 60 seconds she’s for sure more useful then she was

@followdunc Underwhelming, her tether stays attached to the floor kind of like a claymore but only actually actively tethers players for about 3 seconds when they walk over it in a wider radius than it had previously. Overall i'd say she hasn't changed in value at all.

After 20 hours of ranked, heres my takes on the current patch. Blood is very strong but only if bang stays in play competitively (she should) Caustic is strong but borderline overrated. Why did we give bang free team wallhacks? Gibby/caustic synergy might return if valk returns (she should since charge rifle doesnt exist how it did before) Maggie went from a shit character to becoming really strong (and fun) Seer could be a viable pick for zone oriented teams that want a wallhack option again. Vantage brings even more value to a team than initially thought, especially for flex poi's on storm point with access to pve. Weapon meta seems fine, people thought subs were dead but thats over dramatic, prowler/volt are both still insane. Burst rifles are still great, scout > 3030 though now. StormPoint POI power dynamic is going to be hard shuffled this patch due to evo harvesters and pve spawns effecting comp powerspike timings. WE POI power dynamic is also shuffled heavily by loot changes, god pois only really stack your guns now and offer little for shield value (outside of trials/pois with vaults) but we need to see evo harvester spawn points to truly determine new god pois. Overall I like the patch and think it mae the game really refreshing to play even if general legend effectiveness in ranked is largely untouched (because of current ranked playstyle which may change)

the fact that some people are playing 120 hz on console now but they say it still feels like shit bc theyre on a 60 hz monitor or tv FUCK YEAH ITS GONNA FEEL LIKE SHIT MAN pls yall get a 144 hz monitor or 165 incase yall upgrade to pc at some point😭😭😭😭

❗SEASON 20 COMP META THOUGHTS❗ Meta high impact variables are less on the legend changes & more so on the crafter, digi, and armor changes Gas or ass: •Maggie seems like a miss but ult could be insane bcz continues to roll •Rampart potential or will flop •Valk (lots of reverts // charge rifle gone) Obviously Good: •Conduit (could be beyond broken OP) •Bangalore (buffed lul) •Horizon •Bloodhound (meta defining legend) •Catalyst (ring console + wall OP still) •Wattson (ring console + gen lul + 1 of few med sustain legends) Overlooked: •Newcastle potential (huge buffs) •Seer potential (digi gone + buffed) Maybe played but not meta: •Crypto (valk/bang + crypto Wattson?) •Caustic (ult insane but hound + barrels being destroyed still hurt) Probably bad/mid: •Loba (med sustain but prob trash) •Fuse (tact speed boost nice but big hitbox + lots of Wattson) Not in discussion: Vantage, Lifeline, Mirage, Ballistic, Ash (if tac only locks for 4-5 sec), Gibby, Octane, Pathfinder, Revenant (super soldier legend not meta yet IMO)

In Season 16, the Ranked map will change every 24 hours instead of at the split. Maps for this season are: Broken Moon, Storm Point, World’s Edge. These maps are the same in Ranked and Pubs.
