- Roughly 9% of US births are tied to the birth tourism industry built around exploiting it.
- Only 33 countries allow it, none comparable to the US

As an immigrant myself, today's arguments on birthright citizenship are deeply personal to me. The 14th Amendment is clear: the children of immigrants are guaranteed US citizenship. Despite President Trump's wishes, he cannot rewrite the Constitution.

The sentiment is correct but it does not match reality.
I do not believe the intent of the 14th amendment was to enable the type of birth tourism and exploitation of immigration policies we are seeing today.
Now, I’m not a constitutional expert and I can’t credibly judge the constitutionality of Trump’s EO.
Generally I’d prefer we pass a new amendment. But congress is so inept it can’t pay the people protecting our airports during a period of heightened threat.
This is not a black and white issue.

Yep, and because of that i have raised and given away more than a quarter of a billion dollars. My charity rescued over 20k Americans, and Christians out of Afghanistan when the world turned their backs. We have rescued 1000s of Americans and kept them warm, clothed, fed and helped rebuild their homes after natural disasters. All as an uneducated boob.
