When Jesus said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me” (John 12: 32 KJV), He revealed the secret: your role is to lift Him, not yourself. John’s greatness was not in his words but in his direction. His prophecy pointed to Christ. Agape Family Care Supports Top Students in Chivhu Agape Family Care recently made a significant impact in the small town of Chivhu, located about 143 kilometers from Harare. The team's visit was aimed at helping two exceptional students, providing them with scholarships to further their education. Samson Chitavati, an exceptionally talented student who achieved an outstanding 15 points on his A-Level examinations. Samson, the third of three children in his family, faces unique challenges as both of his parents are blind. This places a heavy burden on him to support not only himself but also his family. Agape Family Care’s intervention provided much needed relief. Samson was awarded a scholarship to help him continue his studies, and his family also received essential groceries, which included maize meal, sugar, soap bars, cooking oil, beans, easing their financial strain. The team also visited Densil Sonford Madzinga, another brilliant young man who scored an impressive 15 points in Sciences at Liebenberg High School. Densil and his mother support their family of three by selling clothes. Densil's journey to receiving a scholarship began when his uncle, a member of the United Family International Church (UFIC), told him about the opportunity. After completing the interview and paperwork at the Agape Family Care offices, Densil was awarded a scholarship to study at the University of Zimbabwe. His story truly reflects the amazing strength and impact of community support.
