@ionos_com has got to be the worst place to buy a domain from. 48 hours and I still don't see my domain in my account. 3 calls to support and zero helpful information, only "try again later". 🤯

Working solo and earning less money is more attractive to some than scaling a team and making more.

Crazy scam I just learned of: People scrape legitimate websites, then create fake LinkedIn companies and fake LinkedIn profiles using this fake website. Then get jobs via LinkedIn recruiters and actually interview well. They get hired, paid, do no work, then get fired. Repeat.

@askwpgirl @DonnaCavalier DMCA worked for me at host gator. Took a couple days. Wasn’t the whole site tho, they were just using a photo (of me) on their site claiming I worked for them. They put it back up a month later and I had to complain again. Did that 3 times. So watch out for it coming back.

@DonnaCavalier How does one file that? It's at Blue Host. Client contacted Blue Host legal. Site is still up.

How long after reporting to a US web host that someone has stolen your entire website and posted on their servers will they take it down? Does my client need to hire an attorney to get the host to take the stolen content down?
